How could 1,000 Dinar be worth $3000.00 or more?

The new Iraqi currency came out in October, 2003 to stop counterfeiting and remove Saddam from the notes. Speculators have been buying up the new Dinar like crazy since you can get it so cheap. The Dinar is at an historic lowpoint in value. It is similiar to the situation in Japan and Germany after World War II. You could buy up a lot of their currency for very little. After their economies recovered, it made a lot of people extremely rich!

The Dinar has historically been a strong currency, because of Iraq's oil exports. The Dinar used to be worth $3.30 PER DINAR before Saddam. That is a typical value for some oil producing countries in that region. For example, Kuwait's currency is valued between $3 - $4 each. That means you can buy the 1,000 Dinar note contained in these packets and when their oil rich economy recovers, that 1,000 Dinar note could be worth $3,000.00 or more! The Dinar is not available at any international bank or money brokers here yet, because the international exchange rate has not been set.
